At Samsung’s unpacked event on July 10, 2024, in Paris, the company announced the most anticipated release of the year, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6. The major upgrades in these foldables are the integration of artificial intelligence, a massive folding screen, and thinner and higher-resolution displays.
Let’s explore what’s new about these recent launches!
The Samsung Galaxy Flip6 has been polished, and the square edges are flattered, making it easy to hold.
It offers enhanced durability and improved displays at a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X FHD+ display, a brightness of 1,600 nits, a 720 x 748-pixel resolution, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, and weighs 6.6 ounces.
The best upgrade in these flip phones will be the primary cameras, with a 50MP wide-angle sensor and a 12MP ultra-wide. The new AI features in the phone include transcription, summarization, text composing, and live chat.
The new Galaxy Fold6 measures 6.04 x 5.22 x 0.22 inches and 8.4 ounces with a 7.6-inch OLED display with an Infinity Flex Display, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, and 12GB RAM.
The producers claim it has become more durable with an IP48 resistance rating and high resolutions that elevate multitasking.
The notable addition that Samsung has brought is the addition of the Galaxy AI features and the Google Gemini app that allows users to access advanced features such as Interpreter and Live Translate, Note Assist, Circle to Search, Composer Feature, and Sketch to Image.
