OnePlus 13, the new flagship, is re-designed to be more premium and refined than ever. With its release around the corner, many speculations are going around the internet regarding its specs.
Previously, we got a look at the phone’s design and learned of its specs, including the possibility of magnetic wireless charging. Now, we have more information about the specs.
According to the typically knowledgeable leaker, Digital Chat Station (DCS) on Weibo, the OnePlus 13 is said to be lighter when compared to the iPhone 16 Pro Max.
The company has seemingly reduced the mass of the OnePlus 13 to 210 grams, as opposed to 227 grams in the Pro Max. When talking about thickness, the OnePlus 13 has 8.5 millimeters (mm) in the glass version and 8.8mm in the plain leather version, when compared to 8.3mm in the 16 Pro Max.
The new flagship has given up on the traditional curved frame, but it can still beat the Apple phones in terms of hand feel, as it has chamfered, silk glass edges like those in the OPPO Find X8 Pro, which gives it a traditional look.
It is considered to be better than the 16 Pro Max’s titanium frame, which causes discomfort after long periods of carrying it around.
Even if the OnePlus’s new flagship turns out to be longer or wider than its Apple rival, it would still be less compact than the 16 Pro Max. Even if it does, the ability to pack much faster wireless charging might make up for those specs.
