Huawei Mate XT Ultimate Design unraveled the world’s first triple-folding smartphone on 10 September 2024. When folded, its specifications are just like any normal 6.4-inch mobile, but opening the second fold, it turns into a 7.9-inch device. The final is the third reveal, with its transformation into a 10.2-inch tablet.
While talking to the press, the tech giant said it “involves two tracks working in tandem to support inward and outward folds.”

The Huawei Mate XT Triple Folding Smartphone is priced at – base version at 19,999 yuan ($2,800; £2,199; AU$4,245) and goes up to 23,999 yuan, or $3,370, for the highest storage variant. It weighs only 298g and is just 3.6 mm thick.
Besides this, Huawei has added an ultra-tough laminated structure with a non-Newtonian fluid into it. The smartphone has 16 GB RAM with 256/512 or 1 TB of internal storage.
This is a game changer in the smartphone market and a direct hit to the customers who, just a few hours ago, were excited about the new iPhone 16. Currently, it is only available in China, with over 4 million preorders.
