Although the Made by Google event is just around the corner, you don’t have to wait to learn more about the Google Pixel Watch 3. According to the promotional materials received by Android Headlines, the watch has undergone some major improvements from its predecessor.
The biggest revelation was that the new product will have two sizes, instead of just a standard one, and will be available in 41 and 45 mm. It also plans to offer 10 percent more screen than the Pixel Watch 2.
Pixel Watch 3 will replace the AMOLED display with Google’s Actua Display, bringing the brightness up to 2,000 nits of peak brightness. You can also get 20% faster charging on the 41mm model.
Although the battery life is almost the same at 24 hours with the Always On display, you can save the battery for up to 36 hours with a new battery-saver mode.
In addition, Google is adding new functionalities, like allowing users to access live feeds to their Nest doorbells and cameras on the watch with voice support and quick access to apps like Maps and Wallet.
The company is also adding a new Morning Brief that provides users with a summary of their health and fitness metrics each morning, along with workout tracking, haptic cues for jogging, a detailed step tracker, and a new Cardio Load feature.
You can also use it with Fitbit to access virtual trainers and get the recommended workout customized to your health.
However, you must remember that it’s just a leak, so these features are not officially confirmed yet. Thus, we would have to wait until the August 13 Made by Google event to confirm these rumors.
