Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince is Coming to PC and Mobile Devices on September 11

| Updated on August 30, 2024

Square Enix, the video game publishing company, has announced that they will release Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince on PC via Steam and mobile devices on September 11, 2024, which was previously only limited to Nintendo Switch.

The company said that in addition to the quests, PC and mobile platforms will include all previously launched DLC from the Nintendo Switch Digital Deluxe Edition. It will allow the fans and newcomers to explore the different monster combinations and take part in battles.

The previously launched DLC includes:

  • The Mole Hole: A special dungeon where you can scout monsters that you’ve befriended before. This dungeon is divided, so only the monsters of a specific rank will appear.
  • Coach Joe’s Dungeon Gym: Features randomly generated maps that change every time, so you can battle with legions of powerful monsters.
  • Treasure Trunks: A mysterious treasure chest with rewards that can be opened once every hour to allow players to earn prizes.

If you buy the digital deluxe edition ($85.99), you can get access to Coach Joe’s Dungeon Gym, Mole Hole, and Treasure Trunks DLC, as well as the Burgundy Gothic Vestment, a Warrior’s Ring, and 10 Beastie Bites.

The Dark Prince features Psaro, the demon prince, who is unable to harm monsters due to his curse. Thus, he plans to become a monster wrangler and fight alongside monsters in different seasons and battlefields.
