‘Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’ Early Access Beta Starts: Here’s How and When to Access It

Finally, the wait is over, and the first Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 beta is here to round off the August month. The first Early Access Beta is available for Xbox Game Pass subscribers (Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass PC, or Game Pass Console) and anyone who pre-ordered the game on PC or PlayStation.

The schedule is as follows:

  • Early Access (Weekend One): August 30 – September 4
  • Open Beta (Weekend Two): September 6 – September 9

The Weekend 1 beta will start on Friday, August 30th, at 10 a.m. PT/ 1 p.m. ET and run until Wednesday, September 4th, at 10 a.m. PT/ 1 p.m. ET. However, these dates might change in the future.

The beta download size is a lot smaller if you have Call of Duty HQ installed on your device and comes as a required update in your game. If you haven’t installed it yet, you would have to install it.

The beta will include operators, guns, lethals, tacticals, Scorestreaks, and other features that will be revealed this weekend, with a cap of 20 and the addition of six maps.

  • Skyline
  • Rewind
  • Babylon
  • Stakeout

Strike Maps

  • Pit
  • Gala

Game Modes

  • Team Deathmatch
  • Domination
  • Hardpoint
  • Kill Order
  • Face Off Team Deathmatch

Weekend 2 will run from September 6th to 9th and go live at 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET/6 p.m. BST on Friday, and then end at 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET/6 p.m. BST on Monday. 

It will add two more apps, Gunfight mode, new gaming modes, and more content. The level cap will be increased to 30 to allow the players to earn more rewards and unlock items.
