Apple M4 Macs Launch could be next week

We are nearing the end of October, and Apple has yet to announce the dates for the October event where it might launch the M4-powered MacBook Pros, iMac, and other speculated devices.

There were speculations from the renowned Apple analyst Mark Gurman who said that the first Macs with M4 chips would be launching “very soon.” Recently, he shared a specific timeframe on his X account, saying that the “M4 Mac launch” is scheduled for next week.

In another post today, he shared, “Apple is inviting media/creators at different appointment times throughout the day on 10/30 in my town of LA next Wednesday.” He believes that the new Macs would have to be announced before that.

Another popular leaker, Sonny Dickson, claimed on his social media X account that he heard the new Mac mini with five USB-C ports might launch this week.

Although Dickson has previously revealed some accurate details about upcoming Apple products through leaked cases and dummy models, some of his hardware-related claims were proven inaccurate

Whatever the case, we are certain that Apple will announce the first Macs with M4 chips around a week from now. However, we are still determining whether the announcements will be revealed through an online event or in press releases on the Apple Newsroom website only.

Here is a list of products that are expected to be announced in the coming week:

  • An entry-level 14-inch MacBook Pro with the M4 chip equipped with an additional Thunderbolt port.
  • 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models with M4 Pro and M4 Max chip.
  • An updated iMac with the M4 chip.
  • A new Mac mini with a smaller Apple TV-like design, two front-facing USB-C ports, and M4 and M4 Pro chip options.
  • USB-C versions of the Magic Mouse, Magic Trackpad, and Magic Keyboard Accessories.

For more information, stay tuned to the Apple October event allegedly scheduled for next week.
